I’ve heard it said that failing to plan is planning to fail.
For this food addict, it is certainly true. And I like to keep it real simple.
Planning when going out prevents failure. Make a call to the restaurant or to the hostess and inquire if they have food that you are able to eat. I have found that when calling a restaurant if you ask for the chef, s/he is usually most accommodating.
Prepare what you need and always plan for the unknown. I carry a sealed bag containing a portion of tuna, a can of V8 and ½ cup of rye flakes with me at all times. They do not need refrigeration and are easily concealed in your purse.
Pray – turn over hard decisions to your Higher Power. Begin and end your meal with prayer.
