Her dedication to lifelong learning and attaining and maintaining freedom from addictions (alcohol, drugs, nicotine, sex, grains, sugar, codependency, cluttering, and workaholism) led her to Food Addiction Institute. As Co-chair with David Avram Wolfe for the webinars and in her work as Vice-Chair of FAI, she strives to support individuals, families, legislators, and educators in changing responses to food addiction.

Charlotte Schön Poulsen is an Alcohol & Drug therapist, Health coach and nutritional advisor, and passionate about dietary and behavioural effects on body and mind.
Together they are the core of LevaSockerfri (Sugarfreeliving). Since 2016, Frida and Charlotte work professionally with those who have addiction to sugar and/or other (processed) food substances.

Amanda Leith launched SHiFT – Recovery by Acorn in the Spring of 2019, opening an exciting new chapter in the 25-year legacy of Acorn Food Dependency Recovery Services. A member of the Acorn team since 2015, Amanda is an addictions counselor and a recovering food addict.
Amanda’s passion for recovery from food addiction helps to produce life-changing results with her clients. Her sharp sense of what needs to be addressed first in an individual’s life in order to overcome food addiction guides her practice. The message that she brings to those struggling is one of hope.
Amanda is an addiction counselor, a certified food addiction counselor, FAI/ACORN certified food addiction professional, and CENAPS-trained Advanced Relapse Prevention Specialist (ARPS), with a background in drug and alcohol addiction counseling and group facilitation. In 2012, David founded Nutrition in Recovery and developed a detailed curriculum that provides specialized nutrition services to individuals and treatment centers. He has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and works closely with individuals to help them revolutionize their relationship with food. David is a nationally recognized expert in nutrition for addiction and is currently working on his Ph.D. in Public Health from UCLA with research linking nutrition to mental health across the life course.

In addition to being the proud mother of three boys and married to her husband David since graduating college, Nikki is an active member of the South Florida community. Mark Farley has been active in the recovery fellowships for almost 30 years. Mark found his Spiritual connection and his sobriety through the Salvation Army ARC program in 1991. They helped him to get back on his feet and begin putting his life back together. Mark wound up going back to school to get his Drug and Alcohol Counseling Certificates and went through the Salvation Army’s Adjutant program to earn a Pastoral certification. He worked at the Salvation Army for 3 years running their Drug and Alcohol Rehab program and managing the homeless shelter in Sacramento California. Dave has been working as a Registered Dietitian (RD) since 2013. He started in hospital care, then became a Certified Nutrition Support Clinician to better support patients unable to eat by mouth. After moving, he began working in a bariatric clinic, addressing Weight Management, Emotional Eating, and Sugar Addiction.
Dave has been the consulting RD for Renascent, a drug, alcohol, and now food treatment program in Toronto for Canadian women since 2015.
